Regional police websites provide their own complaint forms that deliberately limit the information complainants can provide, while at the same time asking for needless personal information. For a complaint to be recorded all that must be provided is the complainant’s name and email address (or physical delivery address).
I have drafted a complaint form that prompts complainants as to the information they should include. It also contains the email addresses of all of the Professional Standards Department of each force in England Wales.
Use this form if you you wish to make a complaint to any police force in England and Wales and email it directly as a PDF from your own email address.
